Text Message Program
Effective August 11, 2026
Who we are
PoolHouse is a pool service platform. Pool owners whose service is managed through PoolHouse can receive a text when their technician is on the way. Learn more at https://getpoolhouse.com. Questions about this program can be sent to [email protected].
What messages we send
PoolHouse sends one type of message only: technician arrival notifications. When your pool service technician heads to your property, you receive a text letting you know they are on the way. Example:
“PoolHouse: Grayson from TN Pool Service is on the way to service your pool! Reply STOP to opt out.”
We do not send marketing or promotional messages, invoices, or any other message type through this program. Message frequency varies with your service schedule — typically one text per service visit.
How customers opt in
Opt-in happens through our online form. Consent is never pre-selected, is never a condition of purchasing pool service, and is never obtained through terms of service or a privacy policy alone.
Online opt-in form. Customers opt in at https://getpoolhouse.com/sms/opt-in by entering their mobile number and checking an unchecked-by-default consent box that reads:
“Text me when my technician is on the way. By checking this box and submitting, I agree to receive technician arrival text messages from PoolHouse at the mobile number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help. Privacy Policy: getpoolhouse.com/legal/privacy · Terms: getpoolhouse.com/legal/eula”
The submission (number, date/time, and the exact consent text shown) is recorded, the customer’s account is marked opted in, and the customer receives a confirmation text: “PoolHouse: You’re opted in to technician arrival texts. We’ll text you when your pool technician is on the way. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.” When a customer signs up for pool service, staff share this link so the customer can opt in themselves.
What the opt-in looks like
The live form is at getpoolhouse.com/sms/opt-in. The consent box is unchecked by default, the full disclosure appears beside it, and the form can be submitted without checking the box — in that case nothing is recorded and no texts are sent. Checking the box is the sole, optional consent action.
Message frequency, rates & opting out
Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out — you will receive one final confirmation (“PoolHouse: You have been unsubscribed and will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.”) and no further texts. Reply HELP for help. You can also opt out at any time by contacting your pool service company directly.
